It seems odd to say depression is a choice. Many will disagree, and I totally get it.

However, that is not very far from the truth.

Everyone has the capacity to make a choice, to be happy, to be sad, but it sounds so simpler than reality.

What if I choose to be happy on a particular day and on my way to work, a careless driver bumped into my car and gave it a dent?

Immediately that happens my happiness becomes something else.

Writers' block is a very common term known to many, but writer's depression is something I recently discovered can cause serious damage.

Writer’s block is that moment when you are temporarily incapacitated of ideas, what to write and how to write it, where to start and how to proceed.

At that moment, you are basically clueless about what to write and how to write. If you have been a writer for a spell, you probably know what I am talking about.

You are invariably praying to the God of inspiration to have mercy and wake you up so that you can come alive again.

It is like going into a coma for a few minutes, but It can seem so long. It is also a humbling experience when…
