I understand that some writers hate short-form writing, no problem, they are entitled to their opinions.

Let me quickly make a case for writing in the short form:

Short forms help me to write frequently.

I don’t have to wait to write on my days off. I have a full-time job.

Short forms keep my writing juice flowing.

My writing gets better because I continue to write.

Short forms keep me engaged.

The more I write, I keep having more inspiration to write.

Short forms allow me to increase my output and word count.

I no longer feel guilty about waiting too long before I can write on weekends.

Short forms open the door to my email subscriptions

I’m beginning to have email subscribers. That is promising and encouraging, Gradually, my dreams are coming through.

Short forms eliminated repetitions and fluffs in my writing.

I say what I need to say with a few words and straight to the point.

Short forms ensure that I receive almost instant feedback from readers.

I don’t have to wait forever to see the outcome of my story.

Short forms keep me excited, happy, and focused.

It’s not about money, it's about consistent little wins that will eventually compound to bring in great value. It’s like a shot of adrenalin in my system.

Short forms take care of the reader’s short attention span.

Readers can read my story in a few minutes on the go.

Short forms allow me to test the waters — experimentation

I can easily analyze and evaluate my stories and determine what is resonating with readers.

Short forms reduce the possibility of writers' block or burnout.

I don’t have to look far for a story, neither do I feel bogged down nor fatigued.

Short forms help me to write anywhere, anytime in minutes.

I write whenever I get the nudge, at lunch, and in-between breaks.

Short forms compel me to see stories everywhere

I can see, feel and touch stories all around me.

Short forms writing is like writing a love letter

It doesn't make me a lazy writer, rather I'm doing more.

I can go on and on.

Please start writing in the short form today.
