Are you one of those looking to make money online by blogging?

Please do have a rethink.

Blogging is not a money-making machine: at least in the short term.

Why?

There are 570 million blogs in the world.

United States alone has 31.7 million blogs.

The numbers are increasing daily.

I learnt that blogging is a long distance game, not a sprint;

It takes at least 3 years before you can expect a reasonable return on your investment.

However, there is an exception to every rule.

If your blog niche is “gossip”, you might get a break sometimes.

Of course, you will be ready to bring other people’s dirty little secrets into the open.

Again, you will be a carrier of bad news if you don’t mind.

However, everyone knows that bad news travels fast.

Consequently, you will be ready to make regular trips to the courts to make a case for your blog.
