How To Cope In A World of Numbers?

Have you ever imagined how much we depend upon numbers for a living?

It seems so easy for us to memorize some of these numbers because they have become our necessities.

Can you forget your social security number when it is required?

What about your telephone, house, or apartment numbers?

Recently, I needed to give my employee number as a condition to collect work equipment.

Instead, I almost gave my phone number.

The Necessity of Numbers

Numbers are used for our calculations: adding, multiplying, subtracting etc.

We make payments for items at the stores using numbers.

Numbers are crucial factors in professions such as engineering, accounting, medicines, and nursing.

Without competence in mathematics, we may not be accepted into some jobs.

Children can improve their logical skills by the study of numbers.

A World Without Numbers?

The world would become smaller and less sophisticated.

There will be no measurements.
