Great piece, amazing observation.

I never knew charm could be learned.

But what about charisma?

If it is learned, could it become plastic or artificial mannerisms?

I can distinguish between genuine and fake smiles whenever I see one.

Sadly, it happens often. Why do people do that?

That is why I don’t respond to some flashy momentary smiles.

If you want to know, do a quick test, when someone smiles at you, acknowledge it and look at that person in a moment.

If it is real there will be no change.

If it’s not, then, you will be surprised with what you discover.

Often, the person seemed lost.
